Donny is back to doing what he loves the most after treatment!
Donny lived to play golf. Every weekend he and a group of his closest friends would get together and spend the whole day on the golf course. During the winter months he would anxiously wait until the first nice day of spring. Finally, that day came and only after the fourth hole he began to notice we wasn’t as stable on his feet as he had been the previous season. He shrugged it off and kept playing. Throughout the next couple weeks he began noticing after playing a round of golf his feet were burning so bad he could barely walk.
Donny went to his family doctor and she told him that the burning and lack of stability was Neuropathy and prescribed a few medications. After a month of taking them he noticed the medication wasn’t helping the Neuropathy at all, it was only masking his symptoms for a short period of time and if he forgot one dose, the burning was more intense than it had been before. Donny was afraid he was not going to be able to go back to doing the thing he loved the most, golf.
