Yes, we see patients every day that have had failed back surgeries. In fact, some of the patients we see have even had failed spinal fusions. The only way to know if your father-in-law is a candidate is to schedule him for an evaluation.

I am a Chiropractor in Reno, NV and I just wanted to leave a comment to tell you that I really liked your video on decompression. I have been toying with the idea of adding decompression to my office and I like the simple and easy to understand analogies that you use to describe the disc and injuries to it. I hope that you are helping a lot of disc patients in your area and hopefully I’ll be doing the same out here soon. More people need to know about this technology in order to avoid having to go under the knife and you are accomplishing this form of education with your blog. Keep up the good work.

Back surgery fails 74 percent of the time and yet insurers still cover the procedures and patients still line up for them hoping for a quick fix. What they too often end up with is a problem that is much worse. Failed back surgery syndrome is “characterized by intractable pain and varying degrees of functional incapacitation occurring after spine surgery”. Where is the logic?
